Metallica 2027 Tour Hits Buffalo With Limp Bizkit And Avatar
Metallica will continue their M72 World Tour with the announcement of the 2027 North American shows and there is only 1 show planned for New York. Here is everything you need to know.
Capital Region fans will have to travel to see Metallica in 2027. The world's biggest Heavy Metal band is no stranger Albany but they have not played a show here since a 2018 performance at the Times Union Center. Metallica played the same arena in 2009, 2004, 1997, and 1992. For this tour a road trip to Buffalo is in order.

Metallica, with special guests Limp Bizkit and Avatar, will play Highmark Stadium in Buffalo on Tuesday June 8, 2027. Tickets for the Buffalo show will be available starting with the Fan Club presales beginning on Monday, September 21 at 10am. The general on-sale begins Friday, September 25 at 10am HERE.
A a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will go to local charities via the band’s All Within My Hands foundation, a non-profit, philanthropic organization conceived by the members and management of Metallica and dedicated to the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.
Metallica have 10 sold out shows at Sphere in Las Vegas running between October 1st and October 31st. The band also have 2 intimate shows planned at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on November 19th and November 21st.

I suppose gone are the days of seeing Metallica at RPI Fieldhouse in Troy, NY. The band last played there on March 5, 1989 on the Damaged Justice Tour.
