Mike Portnoy Visits Mrozek On Thursday Before ‘Adrenaline Mob’ Show At Northern Lights [VIDEO]

Mike Portnoy. Man, this guy has played with a lot of people. And they are all really, really great. Most know him from Dream Theater and filling in with Avenged Sevenfold. But he has had the pleasure of playing with (and probably given lots of listening pleasure back to) such greats as Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan, Neal Morse, Matt Bissonette and more. And to top it off, I understand he also has another project in the works with Steve Morse. But the reason for his visit this Thursday (8/18) is to talk about Adrenaline Mob, another super-group which features Russell Allen, Mike Orlando, Paul DiLeo and Rich Ward. And if you watch them tear up Sabbath’s ‘The Mob Rules’ here below, I think it’s safe to say that they are going to rock at Northern Lights tomorrow night. I was planning on being a good boy tomorrow and staying in so I could be nice and fresh for the Q-Ruption broadcast, but I may have to sneak out for a few and check these guys out!
