NBA Commissioner David Stern Gets Heated With Jim Rome During Interview

Things got really ugly between NBA commish David Stern and radio host Jim Rome when Rome asked Stern is the NBA draft was fixed.

Rumors have been circulating forever that the NBA is rigged in different ways. This year the argument is that the draft lottery was fixed. David Stern is probably sick of hearing those rumors and getting asked the questions.  Rome asked about it, to which Stern asked if Rome was 'still beating' his wife.

That question made Rome mad.  Things seemed to settle down and then Stern continued to insult Rome and his show.  He said the host was out for 'cheap thrills'.  Rome took offense to that, making for some great broadcasting.  Probably not the way either wanted the interview to go.
