NBA Finals Prediction Is Here, And New York Fans Are Not Happy

The NBA Finals are set for Wednesday and the New York Knicks return for the first time since 1999. To say that this team and their fans are due is an understatement. The last championship for the team came in 1973. Could 2026 be their year?

Not if Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs have anything to say about it. They just finished a tough seven game series with the Oklahoma City Thunder to advance to the NBA Finals for the first time since winning it all in 2014. It's been over a decade for them, but that's nothing compared to 53 years it has been for the Knicks.

Many of us have been waiting for a certain prediction to come in to see who will win it all in 2026. That prediction of course comes from Air Corgi, who accurately predicted the Spurs to win the Western Conference Finals. Now, his pick is in for the NBA Finals.

Air Corgi's Prediction

Knicks fans are not going to be happy. Air Corgi went all seven games again with the final game going to the San Antonio Spurs. His prediction is the Spurs in seven.

I would not be surprised if this series went to seven games. Both teams are playing great basketball. I also know this whole Corgi picking the winner is silly, but it is fun and watching people get all worked up in the comments is even more fun.

People still sleep on, and disrespect, the Knicks. Guess the world will have to be shocked.

 

America is going for the Knicks!

Not sure if America is rooting for the Knicks or not, but I know many of you in the Capital Region will be.

This is the first time in a while that both teams in the NBA Finals are likable. It would be easy to sheer for either one if you have no skin in the game.

That being said, as a Celtics fan, I'm saying Go Spurs Go. Spurs in six.
