The girl's high school basketball coach was caught on a live stream pulling the hair of one of his players on the bench.

The public is outraged after the coach of the Northville girl's basketball team got a little to hands on during the Friday night game. It has been reported by CBS 6 that the coach has been fired after the incident.

Friday night coach Jim Zullo pulled on the hair of Hailey Monroe at the girl's class D finals at Hudson Valley Community College. That moment was captured on the live stream and another player got in the middle of the two protecting Monroe from Zullo.

After the incident the school released a statement on the incident on their website.

The Northville Central School District is aware of, and deeply disturbed by, the conduct of the Coach of the Girls’ Varsity basketball team during the Class D New York State championship game. We hold our coaches to the highest standards of professionalism, sportsmanship, and respect for our student-athletes, and this behavior is completely unacceptable.

The school went on to say that the matter was being addressed immediately and they were taking it very seriously. They also said that they were taking the proper steps after to reach out to and support the families after the incident.

Northville lost that game to LaFargeville 43-37.
