New York Dog Ends Up On SNL As The Hero Dog From ISIS Raid

Mary Cummings lives in Endwell, NY and has a dog grooming and training business. Several of her dogs have been in TV shows and commercials. On Friday night she got the call from the big leagues....Saturday Night Live. One of her dogs was needed for a skit.

According to the article in Press Connects the producers were looking for a dog to portray Conan the Belgian Malinois who became famous this week after being injured in the raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Syria. The Saturday Night Live skit was a press conference where Conan was answering press questions through a dog interpreter.

It was one of the better SNL skits I've seen this year. Check it out.
