One Capital Region Town Among Best Small Towns In America

Everyone has their own definition of what a small town is. Regardless of your opinion on that, this town certainly deserves to make this list.

US News put together a list of the top 50 small towns across America. Of course, I have only heard of the New York ones but was amazed and happy to see one in the Capital Region among the others. To mention, a total of three New York towns made this list too. The others are Lake Placid and Ticonderoga.

The one in the Capital Region that made the cut is Saratoga Springs. I have said before if the Capital Region is a tourist attraction, its Saratoga that makes it one. Of course, summertime in Saratoga is awesome. There is always something to do whether it be SPAC, the track or hitting up Caroline Street on a weekend night.
