Oscar Mayer Weinermobile Rolls Through Albany, NY

There are only a few vehicles in American history that would cause someone to pull off on the side of the road for a photo. Seeing a vintage car or an exotic foreign sports car would probably do the trick. Also the Batmobile is a contender here, but none of them are as famous or sought after as the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. This could be the most famous car in the entire country.

Fortunately for us it is here in the Capital Region making stops and local spots all over. After seeing people on social media posting about seeing it and interacting with it I felt very left out. Until Thursday evening. I stopped at my Hannaford location in Albany off Central Ave and there she was. Just sitting there after a rain storm glistening for all to see.

I had to make my move. The Wienermobile was touched and so was I, in my heart. Dreams really do come true.

Don't worry my friends, if you happened to have missed your chance to touch the Wienermobile in the Capital Region you will have another chance this weekend! According to their website they'll be in Niskayuna at the farmer's market from 8:30am-12:30pm. They'll also be in Guilderland at their farmer's market on August 10th 10am-2pm. So get out there and achieve your dreams just like I did.
