In 1990 the band Pantera released their iconic album "Cowboys From Hell" laying the blueprint of power groove heavy metal so many bands adopted in the years to follow. Just over a decade later Pantera played their final show with the original lineup. More on that below.
In 2025 Pantera consists of original members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown as well as the more than capable Zakk Wylde on guitar and Charlie Benante on drums. This is the lineup coming to Saratoga Springs, New York this summer. Enter below for your chance to win tickets to the show!

The "Heaviest Tour of the Summer" featuring Pantera with special guest Amon Amarth is scheduled to play the Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on Monday July 28, 2025.

The story of Pantera has it's share of triumphs and tragedy. Along with the great success of the band musically, more than 6 million albums sold in the United States alone, the band have suffered great loss.
On December 8, 2004, in Columbus, Ohio, guitarist Dimebag Darrel was shot and killed while performing on stage with his band Damageplan. In 2018 Dimebag's brother and Pantera bandmate Vinnie Paul died of heart failure.
Stepping in admirably to the role of lead guitarist is Zakk Wylde of Ozzy Osbourne's band and Black Label Society. On drums it is Charlie Benante of Anthrax.
