Papa John's New Dirty Soda Might Make You Gag

Sometimes when something has been around for a long time you have to reinvent it in a new and exciting way. Mountain Dew is a soda that's been around since 1948 and its gone through some changes over the years. Now this delicious citrus soda that gets you hyped up is known for it's unique flavors.

The most famous Mountain Dew besides the original is probably Baja Blast, made famous at Taco Bell. In the late 90s the debuted Code Red. Now you can find all kinds of flavors of Dew and they're always looking for a new opportunity.

Enter Papa John's in 2025 and the flavor combination that no one saw coming. Actually, it's the flavor combination that no one asked for or needed.

New Dirty Mountain Dew

They introduced, for a very limited time, a Mountain Dew flavored with the famous pepperoncini peppers that Papa John's includes with their pizza. Now, I've had Mountain Dew, and I have had pepperoncini. These two items do not belong together and I can't imagine they would even taste good together.

How can you get this insane flavor? You can't. You had to enter to win a "kit" via the Papa John's website to make it at home. Basically playing mad scientist with two ingredients that should have never been brought together. Howevere if this is popular enough they could probably bring it back

Papa's Pepperoncini

Those pepperoncini peppers are quite delicious, and every time I have a pizza from Papa John's (which is rare) I always ask for extra. However it has never crossed my mind to ask for them in my Mountain Dew.

I give them credit for thinking outside the box, but also this is so nasty and no one needed this in their life.
