Pillsbury Flour Recalled Due To Salmonella
Everyone has flour in their cupboards so this could affect you. Hopefully not though. Here is what you need to know.
According to CNN a voluntary recall has been placed on some Pillsbury Flour. The flour effected has certain expiration dates, or best if used by date. Those dates are April 19th and 20th of 2020. If you have flour in your cabinet from those dates and its labeled Pillsbury, do not use it.
The recall is over concerns of salmonella. 12,000 cases of the product have been pulled back. Luckily, there have been no confirmed cases of sickness from the tainted flour to this moment. Also in the same article from CNN, they are stating this is one of the reasons you shouldn't eat raw cookie dough.
If you to have a contaminated package of the flour, please either throw it out or return it to the place you purchased it.
