Covers can either be a good thing or a bad thing. It all depends on your take of the original and your vibe on another offering their own rendition. Some might say the original was the greatest while others would say the cover outdoes the original. It's mostly on preference of the person being asked.

With that said, we will leave you to decide for yourself on Sammy Hagar's version of the Depeche Mode classic 'Personal Jesus.'

The song, which was a huge success for Depeche Mode, has seen it's fare share of covers over the years including the likes of Marilyn Manson and Johnny Cash.

On the Red Rocker's latest album 'Sammy Hagar & Friends,' Sammy is joined by Micheal Anthony, Red Hot Chili Pepper's drummer Chad Smith, and Neal Schon. 'Personal Jesus' isn't the only cover on the album either, 'Margaritaville' with country star Toby Keith is also featured on the 10 track effort.

So please sit back, watch the new video for 'Personal Jesus' and let us know below your thoughts.
