Don't knock it 'till you try it!

Former Van Halen front man Sammy Hagar has a new TV series out called 'Rock & Roll Road Trip with Sammy Hagar'  and the first episode in the series premiered on AXS TV over the weekend.

Let me tell you, dudes got a a ton of great friends. The general premise of the show is Sammy and his musician buddies getting together to reminisce about some life experiences from the past like shows, anecdotes, and tales of rock & roll plus adds in some music, food, rock, sightseeing, and interviews. Sometimes they even get into a jam session together while they're hanging out.

It's def worth a watch especially if you're into rock docs or auto biography's. These guys have lived and performed in some of the greatest era's and they legit have some great experiences to share.

UCR got some details on the the first season and it looks like it's going to be a six episode stretch that starts in LA to visit Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, then heads north to Seattle to talk grunge with Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains and visit with Nancy Wilson of Heart, and even back down to the Bay Area to hang with Bob Wier and Mickey Heart from the Grateful Dead (I'm imagining the stories now).

Check it out Sundays at 9pm on AXS TV. Here's sneak peak from episode 1 to get ya started!
