SantaCon Is The Capital Region’s Largest Pub Crawl
The ninth annual Saratoga’s SantaCon is coming up soon so get your costume ready for the region's biggest pub-crawl. According to The Daily Gazette and organizer Brian Miller, “Last year we were up around 1,200 people.” That's a lot of people dressed in their holiday finest.
There aren't any fees or registration for the Saratoga SantaCon all you need to do is donate five non-perishable food items for the food pantry at the Franklin Community Center near downtown Saratoga Springs. Last year's event brought in about 2,700 pounds of food for the pantry.
There will be a raffle and prizes for the biggest, best-dressed group, the best-dressed Santa and the most unique outfit. SantaCon is a worldwide event happening in London, Beijing and Moscow. In our state, there are SantaCons in New York City, Buffalo, Utica, Albany, Troy and on Long Island.
