Saratoga Race Course - Spring Training Opening Set

The Saratoga Race Course is the heart and soul of that Capital Region town. People visit from around the world to see the thoroughbreds power their way around the track. According to News10 ABC, the New York Racing Association announced Friday that Saratoga Race Course will open for spring training on Saturday, April 17. Now all we need are fans in the stands!

NYRA announced the stakes schedule for the 40-day summer meet at the 150 year old Saratoga Race Course, which will feature 76 stakes worth $21.5 million in total purses. The summer meet will open on Thursday July 15 and conclude on Monday, September 6th.
