Usually, when you talk about something or someone climbing higher in rank...it's as good thing. Not so much when the list is the FBI's Most Dangerous Cities In New York.

Last year Schenectady wasn't even in the top ten most dangerous cities in New York, for 2020 they've jumped from number 11 to number 4. OUCH! Not only is the cities violent crime rate high in Schenectady you have a 5% chance of being a victim of property crime.

The website RoadSnacks compiles FBI data and comes up with the list of the most dangerous cities in The Empire State. They use statistics about population, violent crime, a property crime to come up with this list.

Congrats to Buffalo for also moving up the list from number 2 to number 1.
