It feels like only yesterday that we were talking about Spirit Halloween opening up for the season. Now, we're at the end of October and it looks like everyone's favorite Halloween store is getting ready to say goodbye until next spooky season.

However it's not all sad when Spirit Halloween closes for the year. Once Halloween is over they will have all the stuff in their stores on sale, and for a pretty good discount. This might be the chance for you to grab one of the zombie babies that you were putting off getting at the start of the season. Go seize that moment.

The above photo was taken at the location inside of Crossgates Mall. According to this their discount days will fall on November 1st and 2nd. The largest discount day will be on November 2nd when all merchandise in the store will be 50% off. On November 1st it looks like costumes will only be 25% off. I'm honestly more excited about the decor so I can go in and get some for next year.

I assume that the last day they'll be open for this spooky season will also be on November 2, 2025. You'll want to check with your local Spirit Halloween location to be sure on that.

My question is, why do they have to close? Why can't we have a Halloween store open all year round? It's just fun to see the costumes and decorations. I was hoping that our area would get a Spirit Christmas location, but unfortunately it looks like those will not be in the Capital Region again.
