Spring Warm Up Across The US – What About Upstate New York?
Spring is finally here and while many of us are over winter it doesn't appear to be going anywhere for Upstate New York any time soon.
Parts of the United States are currently experiencing a March heatwave. Some of the temperatures are in the triple digits. The weather system is causing a "heat dome" to form which suppresses both clouds and rain from forming, according to Accuweather. However while the midwest and western parts of the United States are feeling the warmth in Upstate New York we continue to get beaten down by cold temperatures.
From the National Weather Service:
A clipper low and its cold front will move across eastern NY and western New England tonight with the rain showers transitioning to snow showers over the mountains and northwest of the Capital Region.
When they say that life is unfair, this is what they mean. We're still stuck in the frozen tundra while everyone else gets the bask in the sunshine. It's not all great news for those under the "heat dome" as severe heat warnings have been issued, but can't we get a little of that here in the Capital Region?

Accuweather has the Capital Region in the mid forties for most of next week with rainy days on the way, too. I know that it's spring but I think we got teased with fake spring about a week ago and that was enough make us all collectively want out.
Hopefully soon we will see the weather turn for the better. Personally I could do without the wind for a while. Without that thigns might be more bearable.
