With all of the things you plan to do this summer, the one cost that isn't going to be skyrocketing is the cost of gas.

I feel like summer time is when gas prices would normally be the highest, so this is a welcome change. I got gas just on Friday morning, I think I paid around $2.75. Gas prices could in all reality be a whole lot worse, remember back to just a few years ago when a gallon cost around $4.

In fact according to AAA, we are well below the average price per gallon right now at the pump. This time in just one year ago, gas was sitting around $2.92 for a gallon of gasoline.

So if you have plans to travel this year, you at least won't have to worry too much about surging gas prices. Read more from News 10 on why the price is dropping at this link.
