In case you missed it last night on American Idol, after the Top 24 Semi Finalists were announced, the greatest thing that has ever happened on American Idol happened- and it wasn't planned.  Aerosmith front man and American Idol judge Steven Tyler decided he wanted to go for a swim.  Watch it now!

Right now Aerosmith is putting the finishing touches on a new album that will be out in the Spring.  Steven Tyler is finishing up some lyrics for the new songs on the album and has a obligation as a judge on American Idol.  However when the Idol season ends in June, look for Aerosmith to hit the road!

The 11th season of American Idol starts tonight. Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, and Randy Jackson all return as judges. The season begins with the auditions usually considered is the best part of the show.  The question is will anybody still watch this season?

America's favorite talent show, American Idol returns to television screens across the nation next Wednesday, January 18 (my birthday!) and will once again be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and judged by Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. Bring on the hilariously awful audition videos!

The latest American Idol winner Scotty McCreery got the great honor of singing the National Anthem at game one of the World Series last night.  It did not go so well for the singer.  His mic wouldn't work at first, and them he flubs the "Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave"  line by saying something that sounded like "No Jose does that Star Spangled banner yet wave".

The Motley Crue axe man is currently in the studio with former American Idol contestant James Durbin working on a "killer track".

Simon Cowell maybe be known for American Idol, but that doesn't mean he isn't afraid to poke fun at it a little bit.  In the new preview for his new show The X-Factor, he takes a little jab at the well known talent show.

So we kept hearing that Aerosmith would perform on the American Idol final tonight, and then we’d hear that they wouldn’t. And back and forth they went. Well it appears that they will not be on tonight’s show, but it’s not going to stop Steven Tyler from getting up there, and get a load of some the hotties that will be joining him.

American Idol Judge and Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler has said several times that Aerosmith will play the American Idol finale.  It appears now that the band will NOT play American Idol finale.

Turns out that AC/DC isn't all about reality shows like American Idol and The Voice.  Anyone surprised?
