If you’ve been hoping and praying that the Big 4 will soon be playing a full U.S. tour, you might want to lower your expectations and be happy with that DVD of the Sonisphere show from Sofia, Bulgaria. In a recent interview with UK’s Classic Rock magazine, Slayer guitarist Kerry King said he can’t imagine Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax will stage any more Big 4 shows.

Metallica performed the first Big 4 show in the US over the weekend and bassist Robert Trujillo said they're only going to get better on their studio albums – and they have a few more records in them yet.

At least that's what Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is saying.  He isn't guaranteeing a tour but he says that the show in California won't be the last.
