To make an omelet you need to crack a few eggs. In this case the eggs are buildings and we’re not cracking them, we are tearing their ass to the ground! Boom!

Sad news coming from China. The house that was reported last week as the final holdout on a huge highway project, has come down. The owners originally didn't give in to the offer's made by the construction company building the road and they refused to move out.

A highway built around a house? It's possible, especially in Eastern China where nicely new road has a rather large re-routing thanks in part to a five-story house that stands right in the middle of it all.

As humans, we all like to watch things blow up.  It's probably why there are so many rednecks walking around with missing fingers from Fourth of July accidents.  If we can't actually blow something up, we'll be just as happy watching.  Check out this video of the Fort Steuben bridge in Ohio meeting it's demise.  One minute it's there, the next it's gone.
