We have been enjoying fairly low gas prices for quite some time now, they are, however, expected to jump substantially come springtime.

Gas prices in the Capital Region are surging and you can thank all the traders on the world market for that.

If you've filled up at the pump any time within the last few weeks, you may have noticed the steady increase in gas prices. Sadly, it doesn't look like it's going to stop there.

Every time there is an increase in the cost of gasoline my inbox and Facebook become flooded with people inviting me to boycott buying gas on a certain day. Most people do this based on an emotional reaction and rarely think if it’ll actually have an impact, let alone a negative one.
