Of course there are a few restrictions but this is the first I'm hearing of such a thing and I figure I can't be the only one that was unaware of this useful piece of information.

So a year or so ago when I got my first manual transmission car I was ecstatic. Other drivers make it angering though.

New York DOT has an interactive map you can use to see what roads are currently open or closed – many roads are closed this morning because of flooding due to the remnants of Lee. Check the map before you head out on the roads!

In this day and age of 24 hour news networks and access to the internet from virtually every mobile devise, I am always surprised when people who clean the roads don't get more of a jump on it.  It's not like we don't know when a storm is coming days in advance or anything.
