The internet is full of Super Mario related tributes; people dressing up as their favorite character, cartoon renditions, etc. Brothers Hannes and Marcus Knutsson have created a series of videos showing Mario in the real world, but he and the rest of his world are done in beads.

Super Mario Brothers 3 is easily one of the greatest games of all time. I remember being a kid and playing through the game about 100 plus times, I even play it to this day . You might remember the "Warp Whistle" which would take to another world when used. We always assumed Mario knew how to play it - Wow, we were wrong.

I bought a Wii a few years ago and the first games purchased were Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, and Super Mario Bros 3. Clearly I miss games from when I was a nerdy kid. They are also the ONLY video games in the world that I’m good at. So what was the world like in 1985?
