Megadeth guru Dave Mustaine was the lead guest on last night’s episode of ‘That Metal Show’ (Dec. 3). Mike Portnoy was on this weekends episode of That Metal Show on VH1 Classic.  While he on they of course had to bring up the subject of his former band Dream Theater and what it's like to see them go on without him.

VH1 Classic's That Metal Show returns this year for an 8th season and they are once again bringing in some heavy hitters, including Black Sabbath guitarist and heavy metal and rock icon Toni Iommi.

Last week it was a huge shock to the music world when former Warrant singer Jani Lane was found dead in his hotel room.  An episode of VH1 Classic's That Metal Show featuring the late singer was scheduled for later this year, but it's air date will now be moved up.
