One genre of music that Upstate New York really loves is old school thrash metal. Two bands that do it the best are Anthrax and Testament, and you'll get a chance to see them live this fall.
Joey Belladonna is back in Anthrax and not just on tour. He is also back on vocals on their brand new album, Worship Monster, which is due out September 13.
Thrash is making it's way to late night as one of the original 'Big Four' as confirmed that they will perform on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The boys from Anthrax will bring their fierce sound to Fallon this September.
Megadeth has been very busy the last few years. The released one of the greatest albums of their storied career with End Game in 2009, toured with the Big Four and now have finally set a release date for their much anticipated 2011 album, TH1RT3EN.
The 'Big Four' of thrash, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, keep adding more dates for them all to play together. Fingers crossed that they hit near the Albany area. Which one of the four would you want to see the most?
