Just when you thought 'Community' ensured Chevy Chase would be out of our hair for a while and the Ed Helms continuation of National Lampoon's 'Vacation' franchise had collapsed, in comes ABC with a TV reunion of the famous road trip family's parents, Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo!

It's official- VACATION!  Let me tell you, I feel like I've needed to take a week long break for about 10 months but whatev, my ass is out like a light.  One thing though. It looks like Ed Helms and Christina Applegate won't be taking that 'Vacation' they've been planning anytime soon. New Line has delayed the reboot, citing "creative differences."

Being that it's the summer, many of us are ready to hit the beaches. The problem; Upstate New York is located inland. So where is the best spot to visit the ocean?

Spring Break has hit the Capital Region as many of the area colleges are on break this week.  Many head to Florida or Mexico for the beach, the sun, the pool parties, the drinking, the girls, nightclubs and of course bikini's. Walt Disney was kind enough to create a theme park for the child in all of us, but kudos to the South Koreans who have created a theme park for the lover in all of us.

We are quickly approaching the summer months and most of us go on a well deserved vacation.  If you don't have it planned yet, Ocean City, Maryland may be a great place to check out!

And the winner is ME!!! I am getting out of town, away from the snow, rain, cold, whatever...Heading to Florida to play some golf with my father for a couple of days.

Tomorrow I begin my holiday vacation and won’t be back on the air until Monday Jan. 3rd. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to remind you all to take a minute here and there to remember the real reason Christmas celebrations began...
