You have got to be kidding me.

Looks like AMC Entertainment is seriously considering changing that whole "Please turn off your phones" policy at the movie theater to in order to cater to Millennials. AMC's CEO recently spoke with Variety and said:

When you tell a 22-year-old to turn off the phone, don’t ruin the movie, they hear please cut off your left arm above the elbow. You can’t tell a 22-year-old to turn off their cellphone. That’s not how they live their life.

Let me reiterate, you have got to be kidding me. With movie prices as high as they are it is almost more expensive to go to the movies then to go to the bar. I'll be damned if I'm gonna spend that kind of cash to watch a film only to have some sorority girl sitting next to me snapchatting through the whole thing. Is it really too much to ask for kids now days to learn some common courtesy towards others and to actually watch a film that they paid good money to go see?

On the upside (I guess) hopefully we won't have to deal with that necessarily because it looks like their looking into making specific auditoriums available for people that need to text through a 2 hour film. Seriously? Is it really that hard to stay off your phone for 2 hours to watch a movie?

I'm gonna go with the Consequence of Sound approach here at let Mastodon teach you how things should go down in the movie theater.
