I don't know about you, but when I think of comfort food the first thing that comes to mind is mac n cheese. That hot, gooey, cheesy satisfying treat that just makes you feel so warm and so satisfied when you eat it. Pair a big bowl of creamy mac n cheese with a big glass of ice-cold milk and I'm in heaven. That's why I'm so glad that the 12th annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl is back this year.

Last year the 11th annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl had to be canceled in March because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Mac-n-Cheese Bowl was scheduled for March 14th, and all restaurants in New York shut down on March 16th. So, the Mac-n-Cheese Bowl was out.

The 12th annual Mac-n-Cheese Bowl will look a little different from years past, but the goal is the same. It's a fundraiser for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and it's going to give New Yorkers the opportunity to get some hot, steamy, gooey, cheese Mac-n-Cheese into their stomach. This year it's a drive-thru Mac-n-Cheese bowl that will allow people to stay in the cars, socially distance, and still enjoy their fill of all that cheesy goodness.
