These Two New Shows Have Been Added to The 2024 Capital Region Concert Calendar

On Monday we announced that the Doobie Brothers with very special guest Steve Winwood will be playing Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Tuesday August 13, 2024. Tickets for that show will go on sale Friday January 26th at 10am. Today, we have another concert to announce!

As a matter of fact, we have 2 shows to announce for the Capital Region and each will take place at The Egg in Albany.

Rick Wakeman will perform an evening of Yes music, and other favorites, at the Hart Theatre at the Egg in Albany on Friday March 29, 2024. Tickets for this show will go on sale to the general public on Friday January 26th at 10am HERE.

In 2017 Wakeman was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Yes.

Joe Jackson will perform at the Hart Theatre at the Egg in Albany on Friday May 31, 2024. Tickets for the Joe Jackson performance will go on sale to the general public on Friday January 26th at 10am HERE.

"Mr. Joe Jackson Presents 2 Rounds of Racket Tour". This show is billed as Joe Jackson solo and the Music of Max Champion performed by Jackson and a 9-piece band.

Max Champion is said to be a fictional music hall performer. After his songs faded into obscurity, some of the tunes began to resurface in the last decade. Jackson arranged and recorded some of the pieces for his latest album "What A Racket!"
