Remember when you were a kid and you said to yourself, "when i grow up I'm going to have my own amusement park." It's every kids dream. Have a place where you can literally play around all day and eat junk food.

It appears that Travis Kelce is now living that exact dream as he officially announced that he is now an investor in Six Flags, the company that owns The Great Escape here in Upstate New York. Kelce's now officially part of that family.

On the official post that Kelce made on his Instagram page he talks about growing up and going to Cedar Point in Ohio. He says he's an amusement park lover and couldn't pass up the opportunity to invest in a place that hew grew up loving.

Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to continue the tradition and make Cedar Point and Six Flags even more special for the next generation of families! Excited to partner with JANA Partners as an investor in Six Flags.

I have to point out this this is the most Travis Kelce thing that he could have done. If you had asked me "what's something you could see him investing in" amusement parks would probably be high up on the list along with go-karts and batting cages.

This is a pretty good move on his part. He will likely be starting a family with Taylor Swift soon and wants to share the same things with his kids that he got to do when he was one. I would do the same thing and have made so many awesome memories with my kids going to the Great Escape, a place I went to quite often as a kid.

Hopefully this investment will lead to some positive changes at Six Flags across the country. As much as I love the Great Escape, the last few times I went there many rides and concession stands were just not open. It really made the price of admission not worth it. Maybe Kelce's involvement will help with that.
