‘Two and a Half Men’ Season 11: Selma Blair to Join?
Ever-more comfortable in its evolving cast, it's been some time since 'Two and a Half Men' confirmed that its eleventh season would feature the addition of Charlie Harper (Sheen)'s long-lost daughter to the cast, a role yet to be filled. Series creator Chuck Lorre recently spoke to the media about the new dynamic arriving from Charlie's daughter, and a potential role for 'Anger Management' castoff Selma Blair.
Lorre told reporters at the ongoing TCA press tour of the yet-to-be-cast character that "I think it would be great have that voice on the show from a different perspective," referring to the character Jenny's shared interest in women. "The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime."
Lorre went on to tease the undeveloped nature of the character, adding "Part of the fun in this has been creating a character that is equal to the task of stepping on the stage with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. That's a big job. The idea of the character brings a healthy amount of decadence, which is always fun on Two and a Half Men."
And while no casting details have yet been revealed, the CBS sitcom magnate also mentioned himself of a mind to cast Jenny's mother, who disapproves of her daughter moving to California for an entertainment career. "I haven't given it any thought," said Lorre of a suggestion to cast Selma Blair in the role. "I guess she's available, huh? She's a good actor."
Casting choices for 'Two and a Half Men' season 11 remain to be seen, but what say you? Would you want to see familiar faces in the role of Charlie Harper's daughter and her mother, or give the spotlight to unknowns? 'Two and a Half Men’ will return September 26 in its new airing time on Thursdays at 9:30 p.m., but in the meantime, give us your thoughts in the comments!
