If you want to be sure that you're going to be merry and bright you'll want to crank up these songs for Christmas.

Nothing puts me in the mood to deck the halls like some Christmas music. I've been listening to it since November and no I am not ashamed one bit. Anything you can do to boost your holiday cheer is allowed no matter what time of year.

When I'm listening to music for the holidays I am not talking about the same old versions of the same old song. Though there are some classics that I cannot turn down this time of year. Frank Sinatra's "Jingle Bells" is the best version and I will hear no arguments.

How about some great Christmas classics from some rock music icons? It's not just pop stars that get to put out great songs for the holidays. Rock and metal musicians have been doing it for years and while some are celebrated others have been forgotten.

I took it upon myself to put together a list of some of my favorite holiday songs from some of the best damn bands in the world. This isn't going to be your average Christmas playlist. No, this is going to melt your face off and wake baby Jesus up from a sound sleep. Santa is coming in blasting this year, so make sure you're ready.
