On Thursday, September 2, 2021, around 10 o’clock at night, 21-year old Manief A. Mullins of Schenectady allegedly went on a burglary spree.

According to officers with the Colonie Police Department, officers responded to 243 Wolf Rd. for a burglar alarm at Starbucks. When officers arrived at the location, they allegedly discovered Mr. Mullins trying to force his way into the closed business.

Mr. Mullins was quickly taken into custody and charged with third-degree Attempted Burglary (Felony) and Possession of Burglar's Tools. He did not stay in jail very long because was promptly released on an appearance ticket.

Several hours later, the Colonie Police Department responded to another burglary call on Wolf Street, this time at Panera Bread. According to police documents, Colonie Police were called to 65 Wolf Rd. around 1 o’clock in the morning on Friday for a report of an attempted burglary at Panera Bread.

When officers arrived at the location they allegedly observed the subject in the area. When the suspect saw the police he fled the scene, but he was located shortly thereafter and taken into custody.

Police confirmed that the business was burglarized and once again they identified the suspect as Manief A. Mullins. Mr. Mullins was arrested and taken into custody. He was charged with third-degree Burglary and once again he was released with an appearance ticket after he was arraigned in the Town of Colonie Justice Court.
