Twisted sister will play The Rock Carnival in Lakewood, NJ on Saturday night Oct. 1 and we wanna send you there! Listen afternoons to score tickets and backstage passes.

We'll be giving away two pairs of tickets to The Rock Carnival on Monday and Tuesday this week. Winners will also go backstage with me (Tigman) to meet Dee Snider and the boys prior to the show. The Rock Carnival is a 3 day festival festival taking place Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at First Energy Park in Lakewood, NJ. In addition to Twisted Sister, other artists appearing on Saturday night include Overkill, Ace Frehley, Fuel, Monster Magnet, Jackyl, Zebra, and more.

Twisted Sister’s classic lineup formed in 1976. They released their first studio albumUnder the Blade in 1982. Their second album You Can’t Stop Rock ‘n’ Roll was released in 1983. The band achieved major success in 1984 with the release of their third album Stay Hungry featuring the hits “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock”. Stay Hungry went multi-platinum selling 3 million copies with videos for the singles receiving heavy airplay on MTV. Twisted Sister followed up the success of Stay Hungry with not as successful Come Out and Play album in 1985. The album sold 500,000 copies. Twisted Sister split up after the release of 1987’s Love Is For Suckers.

Twisted Sister reunited in 2001 and has done some recording and touring ever since. The band is calling it quits this year with a 40th anniversary farewell tour. For tickets and info on the Rock Carnival, including the full 3 day lineup, check out the official festival website here.
