Food Network Star Alton Brown is coming to the Capital Region. He's not opening a restaurant....he's bringing a live stage show to Proctors.

I've been a fan of Alton Brown's for a long time. I used to watch his show "Good Eats" all the time. His blend of goofy humor and unimaginable food knowledge mixed with a touch of 10th-grade chemistry made his shows entertaining and informative.

Lately, Alton Brown has been hosting various shows including "The Next Food Network Star" and he's hosted Cutthroat Kitchen. Other than all the "Good Eats" shows he's great on the Food Network's "Iron Chef".

The show that Alton Brown is bringing to Proctors is called, “Alton Brown Live – Beyond The Eats” and will have more cooking, more comedy and Alton may ask for volunteers from the audience. He even told News 10 that he will be doing stuff that he wasn't allowed to do on TV...so volunteer at your own risk.

Tickets are on sale now for “Alton Brown Live – Beyond The Eats” at Proctors on April 8, 2022. . They are available online at proctors.org or by phone Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at (518) 346-6204.
