Would Listening To Nickelback Stop You From Drinking And Driving? POLL

If you are reading the title to this article thinking that this has to be false, you would be wrong. On top of that this may actually work.

I personally have never understood the hate everyone seems to have for Nickelback. I think they are pretty good. Sure they can be a little pop at times but who cares? Either way even in their home country apparently people hold disdain for them just as many Americans do. Listen to their last album if you dislike them though, wasn't that bad. I actually think most of their albums appeal to everyone.

What the Canadian Police are threatening to do as far as drinking and driving goes is to play some Nickelback for anyone they arrest on their ride to the clink. I guess this can be seen as a detour drivers from driving under the influence.

Think of it this way, would you be less likely to drink then drive if you knew that you would hear "Gotta Be Somebody" from the back of the police cruiser?

I am curious if this was a law passed into effect in the Albany area if it would work. I mean we have an abundance of DUI charges every day in the area. If this could cut those in half wouldn't it be worth it?
