
Buffalo Sabres Fans Celebrate With A Chilly Celebrity Splash
Famous actor jumps into freezing cold Lake Erie in support of the Buffalo Sabres hockey team. Actor Wyatt Russell, known for his roles in Thunderbolts*, 22 Jump Street, and Overlord, just delivered on a promise 14 years in the making.
Not only did Wyatt Russell support the Sabres, his celebrity dad, actor Kurt Russell, got in on the fun as well. Take a look at the video below to see this famous family back each other in celebration of Upstate New York's favorite NHL team making the playoffs.

The beloved Buffalo Sabres had been on a record-long 14 season playoff drought. On April 4th the team clinched a playoff spot and, in game 1 of a best-of-seven series against the Boston Bruins, the Sabres scored 4 goals in the 3rd period to defeat Boston 4-3. Did Wyatt Russell's challenge help create some NHL magic?
In November Wyatt Russell told his colleagues at, his 'cocktail in a can' beverage brand, Lake Hour that he would jump into Lake Erie and chug a Lake Hour cocktail from a Buffalo Sabres beer sabre if they team made the playoffs. Even his dad Kurt Russell got in on the fun.
