It's always nice to see someone step out of the spot light to help with a good cause.  Joba Chamberlain is the latest Yankee to help with Albany's Center For Disability telethon which will take place Sunday January 29th. Last year the telethon had help from another Yankee pitcher, David Robertson.

This is no doubt an issue that hits home for Joba, whose father Harlan suffers from disabilities.  Anyone who watches Yankee games knows that despite having to use a motorized scooter he is almost always at Yankee stadium cheering on his son.

Joba will be at the telethon, which takes place at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road, and will be signing autographs for fans from 12p-3p.  People will be able to buy photos and baseballs on site for Joba to sign.

For more on the Center For Disability, you can check out the official website and also learn about all the services they provide, and have been providing around the Albany area for over 65 years.
