17 Year Old Steals $50K In Merch From Albany Area Home
Ahh, to be 17 again. What was that saying- Young, dumb, and full of c--? We were all there right weren't we? Some of us may have tried some booze while others were trying out their private parts on whatever walked past. Ahh yes, to be 17 again.
Speaking of 'young, dumb and full of c--, let me introduce you to Thomas E. Slivienski. Mr. Slivienski is 17 and a resident of Cohoes. Mr. Slivienski has a problem. Psst, don't tell anyone but Thomas has sticky fingers.
Thomas and his fingers took a stroll into a home the other day and found themselves standing in a gold mine. Jewelry, watches and electronics totaling $50,000 found their way out of a Muriel Ave. home and into the Gold Mine Pawn Shop, kind of.
Thomas tried to pawn his take but couldn't. Dun dun dun! Yeah, the residence he stole from reported their stuff missing so cops sent out a 'stolen property list'. In other words, when Sticky Fingers here went in to Gold Mine Pawn Shop, the stuff he was trying to hawk was on this list.
But wait, it get's better!
As Mr. Fingers is standing in the pawn shop the person behind the counter activates a silent hold-up alarm and well, you can guess the rest. Thomas Slivienski has been charged with second degree burglary and third degree grand larceny with bail set at $15k.
By the way.
Cops have recovered the rest of the Muriel Ave. property at two other locations. Dun dun dun- the investigation continues.
