One reason we attend concerts is to relive our youth or at least to be reminded of our younger days. Nothing takes you back in time faster than music! In January we have an artist coming to the Capital Region that is planning on taking you back 30 years or more!

It doesn't matter if you grew up in the 70's, 80's or 90's, the songs we listened to on the radio and bought at the local record store are ingrained in our memory banks to a point where you don't even have to close your eyes to see where you were in life when you listened to this ban, album or song.

I remember going to see KISS in 1984 on their "Animalize Tour" and getting in early enough to catch the opening act. A new band from Seattle, a chunk of years before the Grunge Scene. The opening band was Queensryche and I was hooked.

Now you and I have the opportunity to relive the 80's when Queensryche released the albums "Empire" and "Rage for Order" as the bands former singer comes to the Capital Region.

Geoff Tate is headed to Empire Live in Albany for a January 27th show! Tate is calling this the "30th Anniversary of Empire & Rage for Order Tour" and tickets are on sale now! Purchase tickets for $20 in advance or $25 the day of the show. Get your at TicketWeb.com.

This tour actually started a couple of years ago but the pandemic had something to do with the interruption of performances. Here is a 2020 acoustic version of the Queensryche tune "Jet City Woman". As you can hear Geoff can still deliver.
