5 Reasons I’m Excited for Rock N’ Derby

Rock N' Derby is coming to Schaghticoke this summer!

Rock N' Derby will be held May 20 - 22. It's a three-day camping event with live performances, food vendors, demolition derby and much more! Camping options are available for groups and VIP packages are also available. Stay posted for the rest of the artists to be announced!

Here are five reasons I'm excited for Rock N' Derby:

Megadeth will be playing! Over 30 years ago, founded by Dave Mustaine, Megadeth has sold over 38 million albums and garnered 11 Grammy nominations. I grew up listening to Megadeth—"Symphony of Destruction" is one of my favorite songs of all-time!

Unlimited amounts of food. There will be 24-hour food options, of many different varieties. Also, multiple bar locations with different brews. I want to own a food truck someday, so this is like a dream for me! Grilled cheese and soup—YEA!

Demolition Derby for everyone to enjoy. What's a show without some Derby?! I like watching cars wreck each other.

It's a three-day festival, with camping. Bring your tents, bring your RV's, and let's rock! Mini vacay!

I have fond memories of Schaghticoke. This event will take place in the local town of Schaghticoke, on the fairgrounds of 35+ acres, just outside of Albany. I used to go to the Schaghticoke Fair with my family in the summer when I was a kid.
