Adam Sandler Is Coming to the Capital Region This Summer

Adam Sandler is coming to the Capital Region! The actor known for his roles in blockbuster movies such as 'Happy Gilmore', 'Uncut Gems', 'Grown Ups' and many more will be in Albany but not to film a movie.

Adam Sandler is hitting the road for a late summer stand-up comedy tour. The former Saturday Night Live cast member will perform at MVP Arena in Albany this September. Here's what you need to know.

The Adam Sandler 'You're My Best Friend Tour' is scheduled to arrive at MVP Arena, 51 South Pearl Street, in Albany on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at 7:30pm. This Live Nation show will go on sale to the general public on Friday June 27th at 12 Noon. Check for tickets HERE.

In addition to the comedy tour, Adam Sandler is set to release the follow-up to his 1996 Sports Comedy 'Happy Gilmore' with 'Happy Gilmore 2'. This sequel, according to Variety, will begin streaming on Netflix on July 25th.

There is no rest for Adam Sandler, silive reports that Sandler is already filming his next project. This time he returns to New Jersey, where much of 'Happy Gilmore 2' was filmed, to shoot a movie with his daughter Sadie. There is even an open casting call for extras.

As for Adam Sandler's show at MVP Arena, this might be the first time Sandler has ever performed in Albany or anywhere in the Capital Region. A search for shows turned up concerts in Bethel, Verona and Ithaca but nothing in the Albany area.
