It looks like a breakfast spot for many has officially bit the dust. An Albany location of the chain bids adieu.

Let's face it, seeing a business close is never cool. Whether or not you are a gigantic fan of the chain stores, it still sucks. Now some people that worked at this Bruegger's location are in need of a new job. The location in particular? The Central Ave location in Colonie in Village Square Plaza.

The franchised location has been in operation for 21 years according to the Times Union until Monday when a sign had been posted of their closing.

This for some may not be too much of a shock as the corporate company had indeed filed for bankruptcy. Along with that a few years ago they also announced some stores would be closing. This location, obviously, is one of them.

More from Times Union on the closing is here.
