Albany Woman Kills Boss’ Beloved Pets. Why Did She Do It?
This is pretty nasty. The Spotlight News is reporting that a woman employed at the LCS Facility Group on Fuller Road allegedly poisoned the in-house pets at the business' Fuller Road location.
The woman, who was not named, apparently stole items from the landscaping company on her way out of the building when she was fired. The items were eventually returned and she wasn't charged. However, when police were investigating the theft, surveillance video from April 2nd showed the woman dumping toilet bowl cleaner into the company's fish tank. In addition, she unplugged the tank's water filter.
There were a total of eight fish in the tank at the time, all of them died. Lieutenant Daniel Belles with the Colonie Police Department wasn't specific about what kind of fish were in the tank but indicated to the Spotlight News they were of the 'household' variety.
After the video surfaced the woman turned herself in to police and is being charged with a misdemeanor count of torturing or injuring an animal. She will be due back in court at a later date.
