All NY High School Sports Playoffs Have Been Postponed

Well, this is a bummer for all the student-athletes that were prepared to battle it out in their sport's playoffs.

Due to concerns of Covid-19 and the governor's announcement of restricting gatherings of 500 people or more. The Executive Director for New York State Public High School Athletic Association, Robert Zayas has announced that the decision has been made to postpone regional, semifinal and state championship contests indefinitely for boys' basketball, girls' basketball, boys' bowling, girls' bowling, and hockey.

At this point, it's not clear when and if the playoffs will be rescheduled.
