On a side note, one of my all-time favorite Capital Region restaurants is The Nest on State Street in Schenectady. My go-to is their fried chicken dinner is the best I have ever had. The team behind The Nest, and Mila's restaurant and bar, are the same team to bring us Bar Calvin.

Stuyvesant Plaza has a variety of food options with Shake Shack opening soon, Starbucks, Blaze Pizza, Mr. Fuji Sushi, Simone's Kitchen, Josie's Table, Bountiful Bread, Uncommon Grounds, and more. Bar Calvin will occupy the space right next to Shake Shack, where T.G.I. Friday's used to be, in Stuyvesant Plaza.

Bar Calvin is going to be something special, and it's the concept we have been waiting for. We are incredibly proud to welcome Ziemann Hospitality Group to Stuyvesant Plaza. Their vision for an upscale, locally rooted dining destination is exactly what we had in mind for this space. - Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge

Bar Calvin intends to bring the energy of a New York City supper club to the Capital Region with a sleek, swanky dining room anchored by modern luxury, an upscale cocktail program, and the kind of timeless American fare.
