For most of the upcoming week we will see temperatures in the 10s and 20s and not much higher. 

An arctic blast has pushed through much of the country and those cold temperatures are being felt all around New York State right now. Many of us in the Capital Region woke up to temps in the low teens and some people around the area woke up to them in the single digits.

That seems to be the case for use here in New York for the foreseeable future with highs only reaching low 20s for most of this week. After that we will see a "warm up" into the very low 30s, but still below freezing.

Our friend at news Channel 13, Christina Talamo posted these temps from early on Monday moring.

The national weather services says that much of the lake effect snow that many around New York saw large amounts of is over, and it will be dry for a while.

Lake effect snow has finally ended, forcing the return to dry weather for today! But temperatures are going to remain chilly with highs only in the 10s and 20s today and through much of the upcoming week! Be sure to bundle up!

Right now it looks like that "mild winter" prediction is sort of coming true. The Capital Region has been fortunate with snowfall so far, but we've got three full months of winter left to see if we get a bit more snow than usual.
