BJ’s Random Walmart Find – Harriet Tubman T-Shirt

Walmart has the reputation of having everything that you could ever need.  However some of the stuff they carry, I really don't know who would buy it.

All I can say is thank god for camera phones.  I was in Walmart last night to pick up a few things and decided to take a short cut through the men's cloths to get to the grocery section of the store.  My fiance stopped to look at something, when a t-shirt caught my eye.  I don't know if it's just the Walmart by me or if it's all over the country, but sometimes they have the most ridiculous shirts in the world.

I walked over and sure enough, it was a Harriet Tubman t-shirt.  My first thought was, why would you put Harriet Tubman on a shirt, and who would actually wear this?  I could see this on a poster on a wall in a history classroom, but a shirt?  Seems a bit odd to me.  Believe me at $6.50 I was very tempted to buy it, but decided against it.

As far as I know, February is "Black History Month" so maybe this was a leftover product or something.  I can't really see an African American person wanting this shirt either though.  I could be wrong though, and if I am then let me know.  This was such a random find and I am glad that I found it.

Just goes to show that you never know what Walmart is going to throw your way, so be sure to keep your eyes open while walking through the place.  What is the most random thing you have found at Walmart?
